As we age the importance of strength training and maintaining our stability/flexibility are foundational to longevity. Lagree is one of the most effective ways to utilize high resistance weight training without spinal loading making it safe and efficient at building muscle mass. This is much more than Pilates.

Cardio/HIIT - VO2 Max & Strength Focus
The science is clear that the most effective protocols for training your VO2 max accumulate >15 minutes at 90% of your VO2 max inside a 45 minute session which will produce the largest gains in VO2 max gains over 4-12 weeks (PubMed). Having a high VO2 max has been shown to provide the greatest reduction in all cause mortality followed by strength and core stability. While Lagree is an amazing no impact modality proven to build strength and core stability, we wanted The MVMT MTHD to offer a complete longevity solution.
Designed like a triathlon with three 13 minute rounds; 2 Cardio blocks using True Grit non-motorized ergonomically safe treadmills and Concept2 Bike Ergs, and 1 Strength focused floor block using dumbbells for compound and targeted resistance training. The result is 26 minutes of intense cardio with 13 minutes of HIIT strength focus. With only 2 transitions between 3 stations this class is intense and designed to increase your VO2 max as efficiently as possible.
